Chiming Health Balls and Eggs

Chiming Iron Balls or Yin Yang Balls have been used in China, by Emporers and ordinary people alike, for many centuries. There are sometime called meditation balls and this is a good description as regular use is reputed to calm the mind and body as well as preventing and even curing some illnesses and ailments.

Originally the balls were solid but now they are hollow with a chiming mechanism. 1 ball chimes a high note representing the 'yin' (the moon, the phoenix, the female) while the other chimes a low note representing the 'yang' (the sun, the dragon, the male).

Chinese medical theory claims that using the balls stimulates acupuncture points on the hands which improves blood circulation and relaxes muscles and joints.

Instructions for use: Place both iron health balls in the palm of your hand. Curl and stretch your fingers one by one as you rotate the balls in either direction. When done properly the balls should never touch each other, although this can be hard to achieve for beginners. As your skills improve you'll be able to rotate the balls faster and without banging them together.
