Product Description
Sit back and enjoy the show performed by wonderful creatures flying from flower to flower, pollinating your own plants and freeing other plants from noxious insects. The beneficial insects garden provides you with all the ammo you need for a healthy balanced biological garden.
All plants from the beneficial insects garden are wild therefore can grow either on a balcony or terrace. They require sun and water at regular intervals, germination time is spring or summer.
Each pack contains 4 boxes which contain 1 variety of seeds:
- Coreopsis Tintoria is a plant with beautiful flowers with a yellow crown and a brown centre. It could dry out in winter but grows again at the beginning of spring.
- Sweet Smelling Peas is a climbing plant. It can be either used to climb up a runner or just as a hanging plant. It flowers in spring and summer
- Facelia is a wild species, easy to care for and grow. The blossoming period can be up to a month and can happen anytime between May and October.
- Marigold is a yearly plant that has pale yellow or orange flowers growing up to seven cm in width. It attracts beneficial insects thanks to it's high nectar content. These insects pollinate flowers and defend your plants.
All Seeds can also be purchased individually.
Planting Instructions:
Sowing: From March to August. Put the seeds in a hole about 0.2 cm deep, cover it with soil and water right away.
Soil: The seeds can grow either planted in the ground or in a flower pot (at least 20 cm diameter); the ideal soil is potting compost, but plain soil can also be used.
Watering: Regular watering is required but be careful not to over water.
Exposure: The plants prefer sunny positions but also grow well in partial shade.
